This is where Morgan will be working from now until we leave for California next year....Surprise!
The story...one day Morgan got an email from one of his accounting professors at Utah State saying that he had met some guy at Ernst & Young and they had got talking about Morgan (very random). The professor gave Morgan this guy's number and told him to call. The next day Morgan called and the guy set up an interview for Friday of that week (1 week ago). Morgan received a job offer on Tuesday and he accepted the position today! This all happened in 2 weeks.
Morgan will be working as an analyst in the department of quantiative economics and statistics. This is a really great opportunity for him and he is looking forward to the great experience.
We are officially staying in DC until June 2011. Good luck Morgan!
Wow. That is a change. So what about the other job? It wasn't as fun or good i guess? Anyway, that's exciting. It's cool to have professors basically get your job for you :). Is it any closer to where you live? Good luck, Morgan!
ReplyDeleteThat's great congrats!!! I wish the job was in Eagle Mountain, UT, but I'll just have to be patient. I told Derek what you said about Utah State's engineering program...I think there may be a good chance we'll be in Logan when you guys work your way back!!
ReplyDeleteCrazy! Hope the new job turns out to be a great one.
ReplyDeleteHow does this commute compare to the one he doesn't like?? Hope it's better, and congrats to Morgan !
