Summer has begun...

About two weeks ago Morgan got four tickets right behind home plate at the Nationals baseball game against the New York Mets. Morgan thought it would be really fun to invite my dad to come out and go to the game (my dad is a huge sports fan)! So within 24 hours we arranged for my dad and sister Holly to come out the next day and go to the game. Thank you Delta benefits!! We had a great time eating an all-you-can-eat buffet at the Diamond Club and watching the game from about 10 rows up!

And this last weekend in celebration of Rory's and my graduation we went with 4 other couples camping in Shenandoah National Park. This was our first time camping on the East coast and it was an adventure. Except for the rain and freezing night, we had lots of fun hiking, playing games, cooking and talking around the fire. We have made some awesome friends out here; sadly due to a ward split none of them are in our ward anymore. We are sure glad we got to know them!

It was really great to finally go camping after 2 years! I sure do miss being able to go to Logan canyon to spend the night in the woods eating hot dogs and roasting marshmallows.\

 

 Rural Virginia is absolutely beautiful! I would definitely live in Virginia if I could live a hour out of the city in the beautiful country side with all the trees!
