What we do in Dallas....

I flew into Dallas last Thursday at 5:30pm and it was a 106 degrees STILL! WOW! Even though it was scorching hot, we still preferred sitting all by ourselves on the outside patio at Fireside Pies instead of waiting for 40 min to get a seat in doors. We definitely pondered more on that rash decision once we started eating hot pizza in the 90+ degree weather :)

The next day we decided to be a little smarter and stay indoors as much as possible. We took a little dinner trip to...

FADI'S

Isn't that the best restaurant name EVER! Here is Morgan showing off his "fadi" meal :) It was a pretty good Mediterranean restaurant where I had a delicious felafel sandwich with cucumber yogurt sauce. YUM!

To top off our "fadi" night we decided to do some ice cream tasting with the delicious Blue Bell ice cream known only to Texans (i think).

We tried:
Mint Chocolate Chip
Summer Strawberry Pie
Banana Cream Pie
Dutch Chocolate
Moolenium Crunch
and Blackberry Cobbler

They were all divine!

We walked around IKEA and had fun playing with the children's toys and of course one of the best highlights of our weekend...

Playing with the adorable miss Millie!!

She LOVES Morgan and follows him wherever he goes. The best part is, that he loves her just as much :)
We sure have fun hanging out with the Ruggles on our hot weekends in Dallas, Texas.

Morgan only has 3 weeks left and then we get to travel and enjoy life a bit in September then its back to school!
